Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a
sole source, firm fixed price contract to Roche Diagnostics Corporation (RDC), 9115 Hague Road, P.O. Box 50457, Indianapolis, IN 46250 for the Roche cobas Liat associated reagents and consumables for the Fayetteville VAMC located at 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC, 28301. The Roche cobas Liat instrument is currently owned by the Fayetteville VAMC and Roche Diagnostics Corporation (RDC) is the sole authorized source for the procurement of the Roche cobas Liat instrument and its associated reagents and consumables.
Market research has determined that these items can only be obtained from a single source without an unacceptable duplication of cost or delay in the continuity of patient care. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be accepted.
However, any business that believes it can provide the Roche cobas Liat reagents and consumables may give written notice to Cherisse.Hall@va.gov by 12:00pm EDT on 08/17/2026. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below.
All responses to this notice shall include company name, address, point of contact, phone number, System for Award (SAMs) Unique Entity Id Number (UEI), capabilities statement, and past performance.
Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government
not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the
discretion of the Government.
