Description


Sealed Bids: The Jones County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids for the construction of the project entitled FY2025 LMIG - Leveling, Overlay, and Stripping of Various Roads until, 11:00 a.m., July 24, 2026, local prevailing time at the Jones County Government Center at 166 Industrial Blvd., Gray, Georgia 31032. All Bids will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.

Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor's license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.

Work to Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the project titled FY2025 LMIG - Leveling, Overlay, and Stripping of Various Roads. In general, the project consists of full-depth reclamation, leveling, overlay & stripping of Wyan Avenue, Graham Woods Circle, Kent Road, Henry Drive, & Castle Court.

Plans and Contract Documents: Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review only at the Jones County Commissioners Office and the Dodge Plan Room. Copies for bidding purposes can be obtained from Ingram & Associates, L.L.C., 332 New Street, Macon Georgia 31201, Phone: (478) 745-3996, Fax: (478) 742-4690, Email: ashley@ingrameng.com upon payment of $75.00 for each digital set (non-refundable). Bidders MUST acquire Bidding Documents from the Engineer in order to bid this project.
