Description

The contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul for the following assets:





NOMENCLATURE: ENGINE, GAS TURBINE

INPUT NSN: 2835-01-469-3420

OUTPUT NSN: 2835-01-469-3420

INPUT P/N: 160-150-10A

OUTPUT P/N: 160-150-10A

ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 25 each – Maximum 300 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 50 each) .





This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.





The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333611 and the size standard is 1,500 employees.





The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), maintenance and overhaul contract, with minimum/maximum quantities listed above. The maximum quantity includes a quantity for Foreign Military Sales. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) (B).





The Engine, Gas Turbine (APU), is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-2835-205, revision date: 09/18/2009, Change #2, is adequate to support the overhaul; because this item is not a Critical, Safety Item (CSI), interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company names, Point of Contact (POC) to include position, office and mobile phone numbers and email address.





This announcement does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB). An IFB will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date dependent upon the date of the release of the solicitation; however; the solicitation will not open prior to the closing date stated on the synopsis.
