REQUESTS FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR

BUILDING AND SYSTEMS COMMISSIONING AGENT

The Town of Wayland is seeking statements of qualifications from Massachusetts firms to provide independent, third party Building and Building System Commissioning Agent Services associated with the development of a new Council on Aging and Community Center in Wayland, MA. The project includes a complete interior fit-out of an existing 12,000SF structure, in addition to envelop upgrades, roofing replacement, and site modifications. The services of the commissioning agent will commence at the final stages of construction and continue to post occupation. Construction commences in January of 2024 and is anticipated to be complete at the end of March 2025.

There will be no public opening of proposals submitted under this RFQ. An internal selection committee will be convened to review the submitted proposals, and this committee may or may not contact respondents for further clarification or interviews and may also contact references. Instructions for interviews, if required, will be provided to the short-listed firms.

The Town of Wayland reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all responses as it deems in its best interest.
