Description

McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of a Microwave to Terahertz (THz) 330+ GHz Bandwidth Measurement System in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals. As part of establishing a new Microwave-to-THz test facility at McMaster University, we are looking for a set of test instruments providing vector network analysis and spectrum analysis in the microwave to THz frequency bands. Vector network analysis must extend to at least 330 GHz and supporting further expansion to 1.1 THz, whereas spectrum analysis must extend to at least 50 GHz.
Bidders may submit a bid for one or more specific items (e.g., Item #1 or Item #2) or a complete bid for the entire scope of work. The University reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award contracts for individual items separately or as a complete package. Additionally, the University may choose to fulfill any portion of the work in-house before entering into a contract with the successful Proponent(s).
