The Double Cottage with Johnstown Flood National Memorial is a 2-story frame structure with a hipped roof, large front porches, and a small rear wing porch. The structure is currently divided into four apartments with separate entrances from the front and rear porches. Apartment 1 is on the right side of the structure to the rear of this structure, 1st floor. Apartment 3 is on the right side of the structure, second story, going east on 210 N Main Street, Apartment 4 is on the left side, second story and Apartment 2 is on the left side first story. The cottage is located adjacent to the existing road in the St. Michael Historic District.
