This solicitation is being made pursuant to the M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchase Method, Section 3-08 of the New York City Procurement Policy (PBB) Rules, this procurement is exclusively for the City Certified Minority and Woman Owned Business (M/WBEs).

The Department of Social Services (DSS)/New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) is a governmental agency dedicated to fighting poverty and income inequality by providing New Yorkers in need with essential benefits such as cash assistance, food assistance, public health insurance, emergency rental assistance, and other aid and services. As the largest local social services agency in the country, HRA helps over 3 million New Yorkers annually through the administration of more than 12 major public assistance programs, with more than 14,000 employees and an operating budget of $9.7 billion.

The Information Technology Services (ITS) department requests the procurement of spare kiosk hardware, specifically 20 Kiosk CPUs, to replace defective units located at various sites throughout the Agency, including Coney Island (Mermaid), 109 E. 16th Street, and 400 8th Avenue. These devices are essential for providing clients with self-service assistance when applying for benefits.
Warranty Details:
Each purchase will include a standard one-year basic warranty.
Olea Kiosks, Inc. warrants that all components manufactured or supplied directly by Olea will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of invoice or shipment, whichever occurs first (the "Warranty Period"). For any product invoiced but not shipped, the Warranty Period will commence on the invoice date.
During the Warranty Period, customers must return defective parts to Olea at their own expense. Olea will repair or replace any defective component within thirty (30) days of receipt, covering all associated return shipping costs. This warranty includes, but is not limited to, all metal and plastic parts, fabrications, and formations, regardless of any warranty provided by the manufacturer, subcontractor, or supplier.
However, Olea does not warrant any components supplied by the customer or their suppliers.
Please note that Olea's warranty may be voided due to misuse, accidents, modifications, unsuitable physical or operating environments, improper maintenance by the customer or their service organizations, removal or alteration of part identification, or failures caused by products for which Olea is not responsible.
