The Town of Colchester is soliciting sealed bids from qualified electric contractors to install tank mixers to 3 storage tanks. Bids must be addressed to and received by First Selectman, Bernie Dennler, 127 Norwich Ave, Office of the First Selectman, Suite 201, Colchester, CT 06415 on or before 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked, “Water and Sewer Tank Mixers RFP 2026-002”. Bid opening shall take place at the Colchester Town Hall, Meeting Room 1, 127 Norwich Avenue, Suite 201, Colchester, CT. 06415 at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2026. A pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, February 4 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at 27 Elmwood Heights, Colchester, CT. At this conference, contractors will have the opportunity to view each tank location; while attendance is not required it is highly recommended.
