OC Environmental Monitoring and Consulting Services

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is soliciting bids from interested and qualified consulting firms to provide a range of environmental services for a variety of projects. The resulting environmental services contract will provide resources and expertise to perform tasks supporting the collection of information needed to make data-driven, informed decisions for environmental projects related to the City of Seattle’s natural urban ecosystems and built infrastructure. The services requested under this contract cover a broad range of environmental services across project planning, implementation, and reporting stages and include biological, physical, and chemical monitoring services during data acquisition and processing stages. As examples, projects may be related to environmental site characterization, urban ecosystem restoration and status and trends, stormwater source control or runoff treatment best management practices (BMPs), system performance assessment and maintenance, capital planning projects, or requirements under SPU’s NPDES Phase 1 Municipal Stormwater and Waste Discharge permits. The environmental services provided under this contract will support SPU’s commitment to restoring and maintaining a healthy environment.
