Background

The Canadian embassy in Paris, France is a Canadian diplomatic representation in France. The embassy implements Canada’s foreign policies to advance national interests, offers consular services and promotes international trade in France.

The embassy owns, rents and manages several properties throughout the city of Paris and its surrounding suburbs. These properties are used to house Canadian diplomatic personnel.

Most of these properties are painted as necessary during the diplomat relocation season, which runs from June to September each year.

Scope

The Canadian embassy in Paris, France requires the services of a contractor with skills and professional experience in providing painting services. The contractor must ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards.

Bidder's Conference

A Bidders’ conference will be held virtually on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The conference will begin at 15:00 Central European Time. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that Bidders who intend to submit a proposal attend or send a representative.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contract Advisor before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contract Advisor, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than 3 business days prior to the conference.
