| Summary: | The City of Austin seeks a contractor well versed in the benefits market, experienced in advising comparable public agencies and works well with various levels of City’s staff and management, in order to execute a contract for the provision of a benefits consulting firm to strategically plan, consult, implement, and support the City’s employee benefits programs, both current and future. The City is also seeking a contractor to provide actuarial valuation services for Other Postemployment Benefits (OPEB) in compliance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 75 (GASB 75) and actuarial review and consulting services for the City’s three defined benefit pension systems. |
