Project Description: The proposed work consists of replacing the existing roof system at the fire station building. Work includes removal and disposal of existing roofing materials, flashings, coping, gutters, downspouts, and related roof components, followed by installation of a complete new roofing system.
The new work shall include vapor barrier, insulation, tapered insulation as required, EPDM membrane roofing, metal roof panels where applicable, new coping, roof edge metals, gutters, downspouts, roof drains, scuppers, flashings, and all accessories needed for a watertight installation. The contractor shall field verify existing conditions and coordinate all work with the City of Easton.
The contractor shall be responsible for determining the means, methods, sequencing, and professional installation practices required to complete the work. Any unforeseen field conditions or necessary adjustments shall be brought to the City’s attention, and the contractor shall provide professional recommendations for resolution consistent with industry standards and manufacturer requirements.
The completed project shall provide a durable, code-compliant, watertight roof system that improves drainage and protects the building. The City of Easton has the right to refuse bids for any reason.
