Employment Specialist

The City of Norwich is making available up to $31,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds to administer employment and training assistance for individuals experiencing homelessness, or who are at great risk of homelessness, by contracting with an Employment Specialist. This Employment Specialist will facilitate enrollment in job training programs and manage the associated cases; they will engage with Community Partners for client referrals and collaborative case management; and they will find and fund Training options for Norwich residents at risk of or already experiencing homelessness. This funding is only available through August 31, 2025.
