Project Description: The County of Bernalillo is requesting bids from qualified contractors to establish an Indefinite Quantity Price Agreement for cost-effective services that includes the purchase of fire extinguishers, service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, and other fixed fire suppression systems. To be included in the bid are portable fire extinguishers found in MDC and County vehicles, and pre-engineered fire extinguishing systems, such as dry chemical systems found over professional kitchen ranges, existing wet sprinkler systems to include dry trip systems, pumps, pump panels, backflow preventer, maintenance, repairs and testing. Must be able to provide on demand technical data submittals not limited to hydraulic calculations, analysis of suppression systems for any repairs, modifications, additions to existing systems.
The County of Bernalillo (“County”) is soliciting sealed bids on behalf of the Public Works Division (PWD) in which to establish Indefinite Quantity Price Agreement for Fire Systems Equipment (software and hardware), Installation, Inspections, Maintenance, Training and Services for County facilities on an as needed basis. These services will include “On Demand” services for miscellaneous repairs, replacements, new installations, maintaining and upgrading existing systems and networks, installing new systems, testing and inspections. Public Works is to be contacted on all new installations, repairs, routine maintenance and inspections of any part of the Fire Suppression Systems and associated devices, included, but not limited to multiple different fire panels, wet pipe sprinkler systems, dry systems, Hood Suppression systems, fire pumps and fire extinguishers. Must be able to provide on demand technical data submittals not limited to hydraulic calculations, analysis of suppression systems for any repairs, modifications and additions to existing systems.
