Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), through its sub-unit, the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to provide support and training to young adult peers (18-29) who are interested in certification in Peer Recovery, essentially expanding the statewide availability of free training that offers Continuing Education Unit (CEUs) for individuals seeking their Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential. This will provide additional opportunity for individuals living in recovery to enter into the behavioral health workforce by becoming CPRS.
