We respectfully request approval of OBIC 5000 Structural Polyurethane Hybrid Coating as an alternate lining system for infrastructure rehabilitation.
OBIC 5000 is a 100% solids, fast-set, spray-applied polyurethane hybrid coating designed to reinstate structural integrity, provide infiltration control, corrosion resistance, and asset life extension. Door schedule says Aluminum Anodized bronze frames and doors. Specs are written for Hollow Metal frames and doors.
Does the owner want Aluminum producst or Hollow Metal steel products? |

There doesn`t appear to be a written description of what is to be included in each bid item on the bid form. Can you please provide a measurement and payment spec section that will describe each item?
i.e. - what is the difference between "Earthwork" and "Sitework"? Also, what is defined as "Equipment" that we are to provide purchase and installation pricing for? |

Room layout shows EDP installed up against the wall meaning QED-6 will not work. Project specifications are for hollow metal doors and frames, with references to FRP doors and frames also. We see no specifications for aluminum doors or frames. Plansheet A201 shows FRP material at Door 101A. Plansheet A500 (Door Schedule) calls for aluminum doors and frames. Which product shall we price?
Project door hardware specification section 08710, page 10, shows a different hardware selection than the hardware schedule on Plansheet A500. Which schedule shall we use? |

Specifications section 16402 states "Ducts shall be PVC type DB encased in concrete. Direct buried conduits shall not be allowed."
Sheet E-03 Note 1 states "Concrete encased duct banks to be used on roadways." Also, conduit sections on sheet E-06 does not appear to show any concrete encasement for underground conduits, existing or proposed. Please confirm if concrete encasement will be required across all underground conduits, only for conduit sections crossing roadways, or not required at all. Thank you. |
