Summary

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of selecting a contractor to perform a needs assessment that focuses on the actual delivery of the SNAP Education (SNAP-Ed) program in Ohio rather than focusing on the general nutritional needs of Ohioans. Proposals must clearly demonstrate the vendor’s capability of providing services as described in this RFP.
If a suitable offer is made in response to this RFP, the State of Ohio (State) may enter into a contract (the Contract) to have the selected Offeror (the Vendor) perform all or part of the Project (the Work). This RFP provides details on what is required to submit a Proposal for the Work, how the State will evaluate the Proposals, and what will be required of the Vendor in performing the Work.

Process

The Evaluation Team (ET) will recommend to the Director of ODJFS (or the Director’s designee) the technically qualified vendor offering the proposal most advantageous to ODJFS, as determined by the processes and requirements established in this RFP. In addition to this recommendation, the (ET) will determine if any of the remaining vendors met, at minimum, the technical requirement listed in the RFP. These vendors will be added to a pre- determined list for local area workforce agencies throughout Ohio to contract with for similar services following their local procurement regulations.
