Invitation for Bids Construction of Gazebo/Bandstand

LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF SCITUATE
The Town of Scituate is seeking sealed bids for the construction an ADA accessible bandstand to replace the
original structure which was demolished in March 2026. The invitation to Bid may be obtained from
accounting@scituatema.gov. Sealed bids will be received and publicly opened and read at 10AM EST.
on August 5, 2026 in the Office of the Town Administrator, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Hwy, Scituate, MA.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 10AM EST on July 15, 2026 at the Cole Parkway site.
Construction cannot commence until after the summer season in mid-October and must be completed
by November 21, 2026. The Town Administrator reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to waive
any informality, to divide the award and to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of
Scituate. No electronic or faxed bids will be accepted.
