Summary

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of selecting a contractor to research and analyze data to be used in review of the basic child support schedule and worksheets issued by ODJFS, to determine whether child support orders adequately provide for the needs of children who are subject to the child support orders, and to provide consulting services to ODJFS in identifying cash medical support obligation amounts.

ODJFS is seeking a contractor who is a qualified expert in economic and statistical analysis to research required data as well as to prepare reports and presentation materials for stakeholder discussions.  Proposals must clearly demonstrate the vendor’s capability of providing services as described in this RFP.

For the purpose of this RFP, the term “vendor” shall be defined as a business, firm, organization, or individual interested in this opportunity.  The terms “response” and “proposal” may be used interchangeably to indicate materials submitted to ODJFS by a vendor in order to be considered for award of a contract for services described in this RFP.  The terms “contractor” and “selected vendor(s)” may be used interchangeably in reference to a vendor selected by ODJFS through this RFP for contract award.
