Summary
The US-33 Smart Mobility Corridor (US-33 SMC) is currently deployed with advanced transportation technologies, including Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) Roadside Units. As technology has transitioned away from DSRC towards Cellular V2X (C-V2X), the technology on US-33 SMC must keep up to maintain the function of a transportation technology testing region. DriveOhio is in need of services to perform maintenance / monitoring functions for the related installed devices and future devices to maintain the functionality and national relevance of the corridor. Additionally, DriveOhio has deployed other devices and infrastructure along the corridor to support the connected vehicle functionality, but that are not related to the original contracted maintenance period. The purpose of this contract is to provide DriveOhio with a mechanism to perform various maintenance and upgrade services to support the continued functional operation of the US-33 SMC.
