The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as VDOT, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is soliciting bids from qualified Virginia Licensed Class A Contractors with a Highway Heavy specialty to provide on-call, as needed hourly rental of equipment with operators and skilled laborers to perform maintenance operations and incidental construction (further described below) on primary and secondary routes and VDOT owned and leased property within the counties of Montgomery, Floyd, Giles and Pulaski (Christiansburg Residency) including all towns and cities where routes are maintained by VDOT Christiansburg Residency, in accordance with the specifications contained herein.
