Summary Details

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food (Ministry), Market Development and Trade Unit (MDTU) team intends to expand their photo and video asset library to promote British Columbia (B.C.) agriculture, seafood, and food and beverage products and processors. The Contractor is required to support photo and limited video production, which will be used in content including, but not limited to advertisements, social media, brochures, web graphics, event signage, presentations, and trade show booths and displays.

The Ministry is seeking proposals from creative service providers with expertise in in-house photo and video content to provide Photography and Videography Services (the Services). This includes styling, photography and editing of the following types of images:

The project will include capturing limited video of styled food, retail and consumer setups, and processing facilities to be used on the Ministry’s website and social media channels (no video editing required).

The photographs and videos will be consistent with and complement the current look and feel used for the British Columbia, Naturally brand.

The initial term of the contract is for a 3-month period from January 15, 2025, to March 31, 2025, with an option to extend for one (1) additional year, at the sole discretion of the Province, subject to budget availability and satisfactory Contractor performance.

The budget is a maximum of $125,000 in year 1 and $50,000 in year 2, for a total project value of $175,000, including services and eligible expenses. Travel will be reimbursed at standard government rates and is inclusive of the maximum allowable budget.
