Project Description: The City of Springville is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to assist in the development and implementation of a Transportation Utility Fee (TUF). The TUF is intended to generate supplemental sustainable revenue (above and beyond C-road monies) for the maintenance and improvement of transportation infrastructure within Springville City. The City has recently adopted the Active Transportation Master Plan and a small area plan for the historic downtown (“Reframing Downtown”) which will utilize transportation funds to implement and thereby reduce the funds available for maintenance of existing roads. The selected consultant will work closely with city officials, stakeholders, and the community to design and implement an equitable and effective fee structure.
