Lake School Park Phase 1 Renovation - Creve Coeur, MO

Sealed bids for the Lake School Park Phase 1 Renovation project in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, will be received by Jim Heines, Interim Director of Public Works, until 1:00 p.m. on May 28, 2026, at the Public Works office, located in the Creve Coeur Government Center, 300 North New Ballas Road, Creve Coeur, Missouri 63141, and will thereafter be publicly read aloud.

The scope of work for this project involves installation of a playground, parking lot extension, walking trail, retaining walls, landscaping and grading. The work involved with this project is described in further detail within the Project Manual. The City reserves the right to revise the project limits and may add or remove work locations at any time.

Bid Documents will be available beginning May 7, 2026, for viewing or download from the “eDistribution Plan Room” on the Drexel Technologies website ( www.drexeltech.com ). Printed sets of the bid documents for the project can be purchased from Drexel Technologies, located at 135A Weldon Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Creve Coeur Government Center. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend this meeting.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, a certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company, made payable to the City of Creve Coeur, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the sum total of the bid.

Not less than the specified wage, as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri pursuant to Sections 290.095 et seq RSMo, or determined by court on appeal, shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this Contract, and the Contractor will indemnify and hold the City harmless therefore.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in Bids. By submitting Bid, a Bidder agrees that their Bid will not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days except as provided herein, subsequent to the specified time for receipt of Bids and further agrees to the terms and conditions of this invitation and the Project Manual regarding the bidding process. No low Bidder shall have a business expectancy merely because their Bid is the lowest one received: until the contract has been awarded, no business expectancy exists. Bids may be withdrawn solely for demonstrated and verifiable clerical or typographical mistake, but not mistake of judgment.
