Project Description: State of Utah Division of Purchasing is the Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit
The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide: Fire Suppression Systems.
This RFP may result in multiple awards. The methodology that will be used to determine the number of awards is: 1. Any Vendor that achieves a combined total score of at least 65% of all available points will be eligible for a statewide cooperative contract. 2. There are 800 technical points and 200 cost points available. 3. Vendors must attain a minimum of 65% in technical criteria points, which is equivalent to 520 points, to advance to the Cost Evaluation stage. 4. In the Cost Evaluation stage, the points assigned to each Vendor's cost proposal will be determined based on the most competitive cost proposed for each scenario. Each scenario has a maximum of 100 points possible. 5. The Vendor with the most competitive cost proposal will receive 100% of the price points. 6. All other Vendors will receive a portion of the total cost points, calculated by their proposed pricing and the most competitive cost proposal. 7. The formula for computing cost points is: Cost Points x (Most Competitive Price/Proposed Price).
Length of Contract: 5 years. Vendor must guarantee its pricing for 1 year. Administrative Fee: 0.5%.
