Gorman-Rupp Parts

Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with Tencarva Machinery Company LLC dba Hudson Pump & Equipment for the provision of Gorman-Rupp parts.

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

Per correspondence from The Gorman-Rupp Company dated October 22, 2024, Hudson Pump & Equipment is the sole source distributor for wastewater equipment, parts and repair for the the State of Florida (excluding specified panhandle counties) and is responsible for supplying all Gorman-Rupp pumps and Gorman-Rupp parts used in municipal sewage lift stations or treatment plants, including individual units installed in the municipal collection systems.

Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
