The City of Oak Harbor (City) on Whidbey Island in Island County, Washington is seeking proposals from qualified firms for supplying, programming and installing a new SCADA (Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition) system, and related appurtenances for the City’s potable Water Utility. The City intends to procure services in accordance with RCW 39.04.270. This new SCADA system must be capable of performing all typical process control functions at the existing locations. The SCADA system will primarily operate from the City’s Public Works Facility with the provision for remote, in the field operation. The City’s new SCADA system performance must meet or exceed the current industry standards for similar systems.
