Rehabilitation of Concourse Yard Substation, Commonwealth Substation, Circuit Breaker House 551 and Replacement of Battery and Control Cable for Zone 25 in the Borough of the Bronx

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid The Work of this Contract includes decommissioning, removing, disposing upgrading and/or replacing elements of the traction power equipment in the Concourse Yard Substation, providing new breakers to support traction power on the adjacent IRT line, performing various architectural and structural modifications, reconstructions and repairs, installing of new property line boxes, fiberglass ducts, and drain pipes, upgrading of existing electrical and mechanical systems and services, rehabilitating Concourse Yard Circuit Breaker House (“CBH”) #551 with new equalizer breakers and associated equipment and wiring, and performing architectural and structural modifications, upgrading existing zone 25 battery and control cable equipment at Concourse Yard Substation, Concourse Yard CBH #551, Jerome Ave CBH #552, 205TH Street CBH #553, Mosholu Substation, Bedford Park Substation, and Fan Plants 6393, 6394 and 6396, and performing environmental and hazardous material abatement, including asbestos. The Work is more fully described in the Technical Specifications. This is an A+B Bidding Contract
