Melvin Road Sidewalk and Drainage Improvements Project
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF AMERICAN CANYON, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, will receive Contract Proposals up to the hour of 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024 through the e-procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofamericancanyon or in person at the American Canyon City Hall located at 4381 Broadway, Second Floor. Proposals will be opened immediately thereafter, in person in the Council Chambers, and referred to the City Council for consideration at the next regularly scheduled meeting. For proposals submitted in person, the City Clerkâs clock will be used to make the official determination of the time bids are submitted.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in person at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Council Chambers, American Canyon City Hall, 4381 Broadway 2nd Floor, American Canyon, California 94503 .
The project consists of the following general work pursuant to the construction of sidewalk, curb & gutter, and storm drain facilities along Melvin Road, Wilson Way, and James Road:
1. Potholing of existing utilities
2. Site clearing and demolition
3. Grading and earthwork for sidewalk/curb and gutter installation
4. Trenching and storm drain conduit installation
5. Minor utility adjustments as needed for pipe - pipe crossings
6. Pavement restoration
7. Install traffic signs, striping, traffic calming measures
8. Pavement and landscape restoration
This project is funded by the Napa Countywide Sales Tax Measure T, Measure A, and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grant.
