Summary
The Escambia County Department of Waste Services located at 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL 32533 is looking for a qualified and insured vendor to pickup, transport, and dispose of household hazardous waste on an as needed basis.
Background
The hazardous waste materials are generated from public household drop off, onsite vehicle maintenance facilities, and collaborated neighborhood collection events. These household items are dropped off in a monitored location at the landfill. Roughly 90% of the product is brought in from offsite, and 10% generated from onsite facilities. Materials are packed appropriately in drums and gaylords onsite by certified County staff for pickup. Pickups are normally requested as the product reaches capacity. The pickup location is Perdido Landfill at 13009 Beulah Road Cantonment Florida 32533.
