*** Under this Solicitation, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P626BA011 for bidding purposes. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for its construction project entitled, Gary Airport Storm and Sanitary Sewer Improvements, Gary Airport, Lake County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition). PROJECT INFORMATION: The work includes sewer line cleaning and televising, partial replacement of an existing 15-inch sewer, sewer pipe rehabilitation using cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP), manholes and storm structure rehabilitation, paving work, and improvements to two existing lift stations including pump replacement and deicing system improvements. ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is RESTRICTED to SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237110, with a small business size standard in dollars of $45.0 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The requirement is for one (1) year. Responses to this Solicitation (Invitation for Bids) are due by 11:00 a.m. (Central Time) on January 8, 2026. Bid opening and reading will occur one hour after the solicitation deadline. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids) is downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. IMPORTANT POLICY: Contractors are REQUIRED to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) AT THE TIME ITS BID IS SUBMITTED to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Registration can be completed free of charge at www.sam.gov. Contractors must register with sam.gov, prior to registering with the DoD Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system. Your firm must register with PIEE in order to access the solicitation and to place a bid in response to the Solicitation.
