The Massachusetts Department of Public Health MDPH or the Department, Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences BIDLS seeks to notify Massachusetts healthcare organizations of a funding opportunity to create a system to provide remote electronic health record access to Department staff.
The Department invites healthcare organizations to apply for a one-time funding opportunity to create and implement a process that supports ongoing access to information necessary for the Department disease investigation and response. This will enable Authorized Department Staff to remotely access electronic health record data to ascertain demographic, laboratory, risk, or treatment information for the Department infectious disease investigations, interventions, and prevention efforts.
