NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced Contract on a sole source basis to Great Lakes Area Tribal Health Board, for the Bemidji Area Office, Bemidji MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 4 option years.
The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a) - only one source reasonably available. Great Lakes Area Tribal Health Board for its unique Tribal knowledge and reach. GLATHB will work with hotels (alternating states (MN, WI, MI)) to set up hotel rooms with the government rate and meeting spaces for the Tribes
and Urbans. GLATHB will handle all promotions of attendance, registration, agendas, and orderly storage of presentations, arrange for all culturally specific activities, and work the registration table at the facility; once completed, GLATHB will create, compile, send out, and review survey and deliverables with IHS.
