The Town of Amherst invites sealed bids for the design & installation of
NFPA 72 compliant fire alarm systems within the Atkins Water Treatment Plant, Boltwood Parking Garage, and Munson Memorial Library
in Amherst, MA. Invitation for Bids may be obtained online at
www.amherstma.gov/bids
.
An optional Pre-Bid conference will be held on January 08, 2025 at 10am starting at the
Boltwood Parking Garage– 51 Boltwood Walk Amherst, MA
. All bidders are invited to attend.
Bids shall be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 13, 2025, to the Town of Amherst’s
Accountant’s Office where the bids will be publicly opened and recorded at that time.
The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.

Firm must have at least ten (10) years of experience and a proven track record of high quality, professional work in the installation fire alarm systems.
Firm must have three (3) references who can document his or her successful completion of projects in the State of Massachusetts.
