PUBLIC NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
Chicot-Desha Metropolitan Port Authority is interested in acquiring the services of an engineer to provide the necessary services to design and construct improvements to develop a waterside work station with floating barge, access drive and off-loading equipment at the Port of Yellow Bend.
The project is proposed to be funded by a grant from Arkansas Economic Development and other possible funding sources.
Procedures for selection of an engineer will be in accordance with procurement requirements of the Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program.
Interested parties are invited to secure a Request for Qualifications package from Allen Evans, PO Box 305, McGehee, AR 71654, or by calling 870-222-8830. Responses should be submitted to Allen Evans, Port Director, Chicot-Desha Metropolitan Port Authority, PO Box 305, McGehee, AR 71654, no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025.
