Sealed bids will be received by Saskatoon Public Schools until 2:00pm Central Standard Time on April 1st, 2026. Bids will be opened privately.
The work includes, but may not be limited to:
- Upgrading the existing exterior walls, which includes removing existing glass blocks, constructing wall infill, and adding new insulation and cladding.
- Replacing the existing exterior exit doors, sidelights, frames windows and blinds.
- Removing existing asbestos vinyl floor tiles, including grinding floor mastic, by a qualified asbestos remediation specialist/subcontractor and replacing them with new vinyl flooring.
- Removing the existing asphalt tarmac and constructing new at the revised elevation and configuration. Portions of the existing tarmac to be restored to grass using sod or hydroseeding. Re-grading is required to accommodate the increased tarmac elevation.
- All required repairs/touch ups to the interior finishes, or other interior components (e.g., millwork) affected by the work are also included in the scope.
Bids shall be submitted on the Bid form provided in the Bid documents. Bids must be accompanied by Consent of Surety and by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the submitted Bid Price.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and will not necessarily accept the lowest bid.
