Intent to Sole Source Notification only

The DOI - National Park Service – ConOps National, Washington, DC intends to award a noncompetitive contract to Mission-Centered Solutions, Inc., 869 E. Rim Road, Franktown CO 80116.
A determination not to compete this proposed contract was made pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1 (b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract deem only one source reasonably available. Mission-Centered Solutions, Inc., has been identified through Market Research as the only vendor that can provide one (1) on-site facilitated strategic planning workshop in the Legacy Southeast region of the NPS. The primary intent of the workshop is focus on intent-based strategic planning for Incident management preparedness based on worst-case All Hazard scenarios. The anticipated contract is firm fixed price.

This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Procedures; only one source has been determined to be capable of providing services. The Government intends to use FAR Part 12 to purchase the above listed items. This requirement is reserved exclusively for only Total Small Business Concerns, as encouraged by FAR 19.202-4 (a), FAR 19.203-4 (e) and 19.501, and will be awarded under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code:541618, Other Management Consulting Services with a $19 Million Size Standard.

This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.
Interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities no later than Wednesday, March 6, 2025, 2pm EST. E-mail statements will be accepted but senders are responsible for ensuring the complete transmission and timely receipt. All inquiries shall be sent via e-mail Tomica_cooper@nps.gov. Any party responding to this notice shall send clear, factual documentation demonstrating their capabilities to meet and resell this item to the government.
The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is based on this notice and solely within the discretion of the Government.
