b) Project Objective: The Province’s Contract Manager has the responsibility for ensuring that all charging, emptying and year end cleaning of the toilet tanks occurs in a timely and effective manner. This RFP is seeking a contractor who can provide the services required in Appendix B for a yearly, fixed fee.
The Fixed Fee model requires all services are performed within the defined frequencies and must be completed as required.
If the Contract Manager or designate determines that the Services are deficient, incomplete, or otherwise fail to satisfy the Contract requirements, the Contractor shall, upon notice, perform all corrective work necessary to bring the Services into compliance. Emergency removals will occur on occasion and will be paid as per the pricing provided in the proponents’ responses in the Pricing Form, Attachment 3 to Appendix C in this RFP.
There are four major areas included in this RFP. A proponent may bid on all locations or any combination of locations. The evaluation will consider the best value for the Province in selecting the Proponent(s) by each location separately.
