Trash Hauling

The County of Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania is soliciting bids for collection, removal and disposal services of trash and recyclable materials from various County of Lancaster facilities. Companies submitting bids must have demonstrated experience in said services as they pertain to municipal entities.
The County of Lancaster owns multiple facilities that require the collection, removal and disposal services of trash and recyclable materials.   It is the intention of the County to contract with a qualified trash hauler to fulfill this obligation in the most economic and efficient manner.

All bids, ONE (1) complete bid packet, inclusive of financial bid, with original signatures and required documents marked as “ORIGINAL”, ONE (1) set of requires documents with original signatures (see Bid Pricing Form – page 25), and ONE (1) complete electronic copy of submission response packet on a USB Flash Drive, should be delivered or mailed to the Chief Clerk’s Office, Lancaster County Government Center, 150 North Queen Street, Suite 715 Lancaster, PA 17603 to arrive no later than 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at which time they will be opened.  Bids received after this time and date will not be considered.
Bids must be clearly identified on the outside of the sealed package with the words “BIDS FOR TRASH HAULING SERVICES (26-021)”.
