- Summary:Sealed bids are invited for Bristol District Gate City 5,000 Ton (Building 2) Prototype Chemical Storage Building located at 244 Bray Road (State Route 643), Gate City, VA 24251. The project is generally described as the construction of a 5,000 Ton (Building 2) Prototype Chemical Storage Building. Building is approximately 12,060 SF consisting of concrete exterior walls, membrane waterproofing, pre-engineered steel framed roof structure and fabric membrane roof system. Associated work includes site clearing, earthwork, stormwater management, underground saltwater storage tank, site utilities, asphalt paving, chain link fencing/gates and electrical work required for a complete and operational facility.
