Summary

The daily operation of SPTV’s local cable providers feed, in conjunction with operating the digital feed to YouTube, all camera, audio, and AV equipment located in Room 100 and Council Chambers, all connected to SPTV’s control room, are critical components of complying with the Sunshine Law, as well as providing reliable services to community and staff.

Maintaining equipment used in the field, including cameras, audio gear, lighting, and remote production capabilities are all critical in the day-to-day functions of Marketing’s SPTV team.

Additionally, keeping our ADA Closed Captioning services up and running, as well as the back-end operations in the event of emergencies, the Broadcast Engineer must have an intimate knowledge and experience with all the current equipment used by SPTV’s operations.
