USPS Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Repair and Preventative Maintenance



Request for Information (RFI)

This information has been prepared by United States Postal Service Facilities National Programs Category Management Team (CMT) in collaboration with the US Postal Inspection Service. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Postal Service will act in this matter.



Background



The US Postal Inspection Service monitors approximately 500 Integrated Security and Investigative Platform (ISIP) CCTV systems across the nation and is seeking to identify potential suppliers who possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide preventative maintenance (PM) and repair services to maintain these systems for optimal functionality.



Services will include routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements, software updates, and emergency 24/7 support. All work will be performed in accordance with USPS building and design standards.



Qualified Suppliers will be required to have a minimum five (5) years CCTV industry experience and trained and certified to install “Axis”, “March Network”, and “Hanwha Vision” products. At time of RFP suppliers will be required to provide evidence of these certifications as issued by the product manufacturers.



Response Notes



This RFI is NOT a Request for Proposal, nor is it an Invitation for Bid. This RFI is being used to promote competition and to obtain information for market research and planning purposes ONLY. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Postal Service to form a binding agreement.



This RFI is subject to review or cancellation at any time and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Postal Service to enter into an agreement. The Postal Service will not pay for the information submitted in response to this request.



No solicitation exists at this time however USPS does intend on hosting an event in the near future and RFI respondents will be invited to participate.



Response Instructions



All responses must be received by the response date listed above. Interested suppliers should provide a Capabilities statement showing at minimum:



(a) Company Experience indicating compliance with qualifications listed above;



(b) list of relevant PM contracts and/or repair projects (minimum of 3);



(c) Point-of-Contact info (name, email, phone)



Suppliers who do not provide items (a)(b)(c) or provide partial responses may not be considered for an invitation to a future RFP event.
