The County is remodeling an existing 3,278 square feet office suite to accommodate a team from the District Attorney's Office. Convert existing conference room to one interview room and one office. Convert existing network room to a waiting area and an interview room. Reconfigure one office and small storage area to create two offices. Fill in existing corners of open work area to create two private offices. Existing workstations to be removed and new workstations installed in different configuration (workstations/furniture by County). Will require modifications to existing mechanical (including testing and balancing), electrical, low voltage (pathways by contractor, cabling/devices by County), fire alarm, acoustical tile ceilings, acoustical wall panels, new LED light fixtures, paint, flooring throughout. Any work performed by County vendors to be coordinated by the General Contractor.
The Juvenile Services Building was originally constructed in 1991. The portion of the second floor included in this scope of work was previously occupied by Washington County's Cooperative Library Services and is currently empty. The space is adjacent to the Law Library, which will be in operation throughout the course of this project. The 1st floor space directly below the area of work is occupied by Juvenile Services, and will also be in operation.
