Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requires the use of one (1) Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) to support ongoing maintenance of cranes and shipyard facilities. The 45' Electric Articulating Boom Lift with a Jib, Model #JLG E450AJ, will be put to use for the maintenance of facilities, utilities,and machine maintenance access with a period of performance (POP) from 01/15/2025-01/14/2026 on the base contract, with two option years added. Option year one (1) POP will be from 01/15/2026- 01/14/2027. Option year two (2) POP will be from 01/15/2027-01/14/2028.

Any respondent interested in this Sources Sought notice MUST provide a statement certifying if you ARE OR ARE NOT able to comply with FAR 52.219-14 “Limitations on Subcontracting”. FAR Clause 52.219-14 is included in it's entirety as an attachment with this posting. In addition to your provided statement, we are requesting that vendors provide information regarding if they own their own equipment or would need to rent the equipment through another entity in order to meet the Statement of Work requirements.
