The USDA Forest Service anticipates issuing an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. It is the intent of this contract to procure bridge replacement work for the Chippewa National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to perform all work necessary.
The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at the System for Award management (https://SAM.gov) on or about April 11, 2025. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through sam.gov. The resulting contract magnitude is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
NAICS: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, the size standard is $45.0Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Solicitation number: 12445525B0001. In order to receive award under this IFB the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://SAM.gov, and have completed the online representations and certifications and be a certified 100% Small Business.
All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USDA Forest Service.
1. Location of Project Work
The project is located approximately 4 miles east of the municipality of Walker, MN 56484 in the Chippewa National Forest, Walker Ranger District, in Cass County, MN.

The Government will be seeking bids for a firm fixed price contract.

Under this solicitation, one contract may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who is responsive to the solicitation.
