The Lowell Housing Authority seeks bids from qualified contractors interested in providing labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for carpet replacement throughout the agency on an as needed basis.
The Contractor awarded the contract under this QSP will be responsible for the timely replacement of carpeting as specified and directed by LHA personnel. Work may be required to be performed at any LHA property.

Typical Work Projects - Currently we have 1,613 units in federal family and elderly/disabled housing developments, and 148 units in state housing developments, 1,405 U.S. HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers and 42 units in HUD Multi-family new construction/substantial rehabilitation development. Typical carpet projects consist of the removal of 9x9 or 12x12 existing carpeting in one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The average working square footage is 500 to 700 sq ft.
