REVISIONS:

  • Page 7, Proposal Contents section, item 1 revised to reflect correct addressee: “George Sparks, Judge Executive, Lewis County Fiscal Court.”
  • Pages 12-31, Appendix B, Commonwealth of Kentucky Contract for Montgomery-Kinniconick Creek Watershed Management Plan added.

CLARIFICATIONS:

  • Question: KDOW sampling underway and will be completed such that Consultant can begin analyses September 2026 (or once contract is awarded)?

Answer: Sampling will be completed by KDOW and should be available for analysis by the selected firm upon award of contract. The selected firm will be given an update as to the availability of the data following contract award.

  • Question: Are there any specialized surveys, studies, or other monitoring anticipated or needed for Consultant to perform/include in budget other than the stream walk?

Answer: There is the potential for additional surveys, studies, etc. to be completed based upon need and as the budget allows through the life of the project. However, a definitive answer cannot be given until work begins and determination of needed studies are made.

  • Question: Please confirm that the total contract available to the Consultant will be $113,000.

Answer: The total amount of $113,000 will be used to cover all project expenses, including both the contract of the selected firm and an administrative services contract.

  • Are we able to hand deliver to the 201 Government Street, Suite 300 Maysville, KY address?

Answer: Yes, hand deliveries can be made to that address.

  • Question: Should the consultant include costs under “Indirect Charges” in the Budget Table to perform these tasks or support the ADD in these tasks?  I see where Project Final Report and Financial Closeout are on the Milestone Schedule, presumable for the Consultant to prepare?  Are those considered Indirect Charges?

Answer: There are no “indirect charges” for this project to be outlined specifically in the budget. All funds are classified as contractual in the program budget as all work will be performed via a contract to be executed between the selected firm and the City and/or Fiscal Court.

As far as closeout goes, the selected firm will be expected to provide all required information and data as necessary to complete the final reporting/closeout requirements, but the ADD is contracted to perform all administrative duties, including the preparation and submittal of reports to KDOW.
