2024 NBCMA Water Main Extension

Project Description: The 2024 NBCMA Water Main Extension Project includes the construction of a water main extension and water services to adjacent residential properties with additional water service connections to properties with existing water main access. This project will include up to 70 connections however the actual number of connections will be determined and authorized by the United States Navy prior to construction, each property that accepts the public water connection is required to complete proper well abandonment in accordance with the guidelines of the Bucks County Health Department. This project includes: horizontal directional drill (open cut as directed) installation of an 8-inch HDPE watermain, water main taps, fire hydrant assemblies, flushing and sampling stations, water service taps, water services (curb stops, meters and meter pits, k-copper piping, etc.) and well abandonments. Construction will occur in the State Highway, Township Road, Right-of-Way, and Easement Areas on private property.
