The Town of Medfield, MA (hereinafter the “Town”), invites SEALED bids, pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30B, for Contract #FAC 2026-05 School Grounds Mowing Services. The scope of work consists in general grass mowing of the Public School properties, including fields, common areas, and select landscaping as outlined in the scope of work section.
Bids will be received until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, on the third floor of the Medfield Town House the Office of the Medfield Public Schools Director of Finance & Operations:

. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided therein and in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder’s name, address and telephone number and the words “FAC 2026-05 School Grounds Mowing Services”
The contract is for the period beginning approximately April 1, 2026, and ending October 31, 2026. The Town may, at its sole discretion, renew the contract for two additional terms in one-year increments (April 1, 2027, through October 31, 2027, and April 1, 2028, through October 31, 2028). The approximate frequency of mowing is once per week from mid-April through October. The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the Town. The contract(s) will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest combined total ‘per mow’ price for all three years.
All bidders must perform site visits on their own prior to submitting a bid.

The Town reserves the right to cancel this Invitation for Bids, or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if it determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the Town.
