This procurement is a for a new contract to provide metabolomics and proteomic lab services with Duke University Mass Spectrometry Assessment of Targeted Metabolomic and Proteomic Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Research and Development for continuation of an ongoing research project in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements. Network Contracting Office 6 intends to award a new, firm-fixed-price, sole source contract to Duke University for the metabolomics and proteomic lab services that will inform our plasma-based signature of outcomes after HCV cure and are relevant to Veterans with severe liver disease analyses.
